Online Check-in for International ( ex-Yangon & Mandalay only) & All Domestic Sectors

Flight will be opened for Online Check-in from 24 hours to 4 hours ahead of your flight Standard Time of Departure.
Please collect your physical boarding pass(es) and drop your baggage at the airport check-in desk latest by 45 minutes before departure time.
Travel documents must be presented at the airport check-in desk.
You can do online check-in for your infant by entering the infant’s name and age in the check-In record and associating him/ her with an adult passenger in the booking.
MAI reserves the right to deny boarding if the passengers' travel documents are not completed.
Your seat from online check-in has been assigned without a fee. However, the assigned seat is subject to change in case of any unforeseeable or unpredicted operational requirements.

Check-in can be done at the airport for all MAI flights. Note that you can select seats online from 24 hours to 2 hours before departure. Another reminder is to respect your Check-In Deadline, the time limit beyond which you can no longer check-in for your flight nor check-in your baggage. The Check-In Deadline is 2 hours prior to the departure time.

• Check-in counters open 2 1/2 hours and close 40 minutes before departure time
• In Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh airports, check-in counters close 50 minutes ahead before departure time
• Boarding gates open 1.15 hours and close 10 minutes before departure time

Airport Check-In

To check-in at the airport, bring your E-Ticket or paper ticket, MAI Booking Reference number, passport and any relevant international travel documents and visit the check-in counters. Our friendly and professional staff at the airport will be able to check you in for your flight and assist with any questions you may have.

Checked Baggage

Travelers checking in at the airport will have baggage labels attached at check-in. Priority tags will be attached to the baggage of our Diamond Card Member. Be sure to label your baggage inside and out, with your name, address and contact number for your destination and ensure that all old destination stickers and tags are removed from all baggage.
