On 24 Feb 2026, Myanmar Airways International (MAI) signed strategic partnership agreements with Perkasa Flight School, Indonesia and Aviation Training & Flying Academy (ATFA), to launch the Cadet Pilot Program (CCP) and Cabin Crew Preparatory Program (CCPP).

This marks Myanmar's first-ever cadet pilot program, opening new international aviation career pathways for Myanmar nationals and strengthening MAI’s commitment to developing world-class aviation professionals. We also proudly celebrated the graduation of 17 students from the MAI & MHTi Airliner Ground Internship Program (2nd Batch). 

Together, MAI and its partners share a vision of developing highly skilled aviation professionals and elevating the aviation industry’s standards in Myanmar.
